Greenhouse maker to showcase over 80 years of heritage at RHS Chelsea Flower Show – Saddleworth Independent

A SHOWCASE of greenhouses and greenhouses from Greenfield-based Hartley Botanic spanning eight decades will be on display at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show from September 21-26.
The booth will communicate the heritage and reputation of the manufacturer – built over 83 years – with four handcrafted structures, each representing different eras in the company’s history.
The stand traces the maker’s legacy using its structures ranging from a vintage 1950s semi-dodecagon greenhouse to a modern Opus Grand Botanic.
The stand was built and planted by Stewart Landscape Construction with the design and style of Llevelo Garden Design.
There will be a vintage semi-dodecagon greenhouse (built in the 1950s), a Hartley 6 Grow and Store (representing the 60s and 70s), a Victorian patio (90s) and a modern horticulture Opus Grand Botanic (today ).
The structures have been dressed to represent the relevant decades using planting patterns, garden tools and props typical of each decade to provide a journey through Hartley Botanic’s legacy and gardening history. under greenhouse as a whole.
