EY announces Back to the Roots as recipient of Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2021 Northern California Award

OAKLAND, California, August 6, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) announced on August 4, 2021, that the co-founders and co-CEOs of Back to the Roots Nikhil Arora and Alexandre Vélez were named entrepreneur of the year® Winner of the 2021 Northern California Award. Back to the Roots is changing gardening for the next generation by disrupting the 48 billion dollars the gardening industry by making gardening accessible to everyone, everywhere with its range of organic indoor grow kits, 100% United States cultivated seeds, sustainable peat-free soils, starter pots and seed mixes and raised beds. The Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards program is one of the most prestigious competitive awards for entrepreneurs and leaders of high growth companies. The award recognizes those who are unstoppable business leaders, excelling in talent management; degree of difficulty; financial performance; societal impact and building a company based on values; and originality, innovation and plans for the future. Back to the Roots was selected by an independent jury and the award was announced at the program’s virtual gala. August 4.
